The race will be finishing in Keppel Bay with boats heading to the Keppel Bay Marina to enjoy the hospitality and entertainment before heading north for Airlie Beach Race Week, or back to home ports.

The race will be conducted from a start line in Moreton Bay at 1100 hours on Saturday 2 August 2008 and travelling approximately 348 nautical miles north along the east coast of Queensland finishing in Keppel Bay.
Now in its 2nd year, the Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race is conducted by the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron and this year have teamed up with the crew from Keppel Bay Marina who will host the yachts upon finishing.
